Blue-faced Parrot Finch

Other names: Blue-headed Parrot Finch, Green-backed Finch.

Distribution: Australia – eastern side of Cape York Peninsula, south to the Atherton Tableland.

Pacific Islands – Sulawesi, Moluccas, Palau and Caroline Islands, Papua New Guinea.

Habitat: Edges of rainforests, venturing into grasslands and cultivations, in areas from the lowlands, up to mist shrouded mountain forests.
